Kids in the Kitchen – Sandwich Showdown @ Suite Fire Bar + Grille

Do you have a little chef at home? Join us for a fun-filled Kids Chef Competition at Suite Fire!

Kids will create a SANDWICH recipe using any of the selected ingredients. Kids will present their recipe, help prep the recipe to be cooked, and our professional chefs will cook their recipe for judging. Prizes will be awarded for Judges Choice and People’s Choice winners.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:
Kids must be between the ages of 6 to 12.

Limited Competitors – we are only taking the first ten kids who sign up to participate in the competition.

Price is $15.00 per child, price includes a chef’s apron, their finished recipe for them to eat, and a children’s beverage.

Sign up by purchasing a ticket on Eventbrite. You must sign up by January 15th.

RECIPE CREATION REQUIREMENTS:
The recipe must be a sandwich.

The recipe can only include the following ingredients:
Chicken, Chicken Bites, Bacon, Beef Slider Patty, Mozzarella Cheese Stick, Gouda Cheese Sauce, Cheddar Cheese, Swiss Cheese, Provolone Cheese, American Cheese, Slider Buns, Texas Toast, Pita Shell, Corkscrew Pasta, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Honey, Broccoli, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Celery, Red Onion, Baby Carrots, Diced Potatoes, Lettuce Blend, Ranch, BBQ Sauce, Mayonnaise, Salsa.

Kids must create their recipe before the contest date. They must bring their completed recipe card to the contest. Card can be downloaded at https://suitefire.com/wp-content/uploads/Kids_Cooking_Contest_Recipe_Invite_Card.pdf

CONTEST DETAILS:
Kids bring in their completed recipe cards. They will then assist our professional chef’s in the prep of their dishes. Our chefs will then cook and complete their recipes for judging.

Judges Choice Prize/Winner: This winning dish will be chosen based upon flavor, creativity, and appearance. The winner will receive their winning recipe featured on our Spring Features menu that runs from March through May. The recipe along with a little chef spotlight will be inserted in our menus. They will also win two tickets to The Unique Unicorn Experience at Suite Fire in March, where their dish will also be featured!

Peoples Choice Prize/ Winner: This winning dish will be selected by the diners/ audience on contest day. They will receive one vote card with the purchase of a lunch entree. The dish with the most people’s choice votes will be the winner. The winner will receive a Pizza and Pajama Party for two adults and four kids at our hotel.

FOR FAMILIES/SPECTATORS:
Lunch will be served from Noon to 3pm.

The contest will be from 1pm to 3pm.

Groups of 6 or more will need to make a reservation by January 15th for guaranteed seating.
