Chef Seth has always had a passion for the culinary arts. He was first introduced to cooking by his father. At an early age he had mastered cooking wild game and fish that were available in his hometown in Wisconsin. By age 16, he began working as a prep cook in a local restaurant and quickly worked his way up to a line cook position and then was recruited by a mentor to work for him at a newly built casino. At this point his career took off! He became a Chef for Farradays Steak House in a casino in Bettendorf, Iowa and continued to gain knowledge and experience as well as find his competitive spirit by participating in culinary competitions. It was during this time of education and competition that he developed his famous recipe for his Fried Strawberries. From there Chef continued on the fast track working in brand new restaurants, expansive banquet halls and even working as a Team Chef for the Green Bay Packers. His journey took him across Colorado, Florida, Wisconsin and then to Central Illinois! He joined the Par-A-Dice Culinary Team in 2008, creating signature dishes and helping their venue be a stand out event location in the community. He joined the Suite Fire Team as our Executive Chef, prior to opening in 2016. His vast knowledge, creative edge and signature dishes have made Suite Fire a unique culinary hotspot.
